This Privacy Policy describes how Backlinks App LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the mobile application Humanize AI: Text to Human (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
a) Content you provide. When you use the App's features (such as humanizing, paraphrasing, or checking text), the text you enter is transmitted to our servers and/or third-party AI processing services solely to generate your requested output. We do not sell your text, use it to build marketing profiles, or claim ownership of it.
b) Automatically collected information. When you use the App, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device information (device model, operating system, language, region)
- App usage data (features used, session length, crash logs, performance data)
- Identifiers such as your device advertising ID (e.g., Apple IDFA or Google Advertising ID), subject to your device permission settings
- Approximate (coarse) location inferred from IP address, used for ad relevance and analytics
c) Purchase information. If you make an in-app purchase or subscribe, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your credit card or full payment details. We may receive limited, non-identifying transaction data (such as purchase confirmation and subscription status) to unlock premium features.
d) Information you send us. If you contact us for support or feedback, we collect the information you provide, such as your email address and message contents.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App's features, including processing text you submit
- To process and verify in-app purchases and subscriptions
- To display advertising in the free version of the App
- To analyze usage, fix bugs, and improve performance and features
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you
- To detect fraud or abuse and to comply with legal obligations
3. Advertising
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, such as Google AdMob. These networks may collect and use your device advertising ID, IP address, and app interaction data to serve ads, measure ad performance, and (where permitted) show personalized ads.
Your choices: You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device settings — on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising, and on Android via Settings → Google → Ads. Purchasing the ad-free / premium version of the App removes third-party ads.

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the App, such as cloud hosting, AI text-processing services, analytics providers, and crash-reporting tools
- Advertising partners (e.g., Google AdMob) as described in Section 3
- App stores (Apple and Google) for purchase processing and subscription management
- Legal authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply
5. Data Retention
Text submitted for processing is retained only as long as necessary to generate your result and for short-term operational purposes (such as debugging and abuse prevention), after which it is deleted or anonymized. Analytics and usage data are retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, then deleted or aggregated.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
- EEA / UK (GDPR): You may exercise the rights above and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent (for personalized advertising where required), and legal compliance.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out via your device's ad settings described in Section 3 or by contacting us.

9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside of your country of residence, including in countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (including advertisements). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
